What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They can maintain a session or remember settings. Other technologies, such as local storage, may serve similar purposes.

Website owner

Eduard Benito Roig, owner of the personal project BeroIT (beroit.com). Contact: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Personal data processing is explained in the privacy policy.

Cookies currently used

An HTTP response check of the homepage, blog and contact form on 19 October 2026 identified a first-party session cookie. Its name is an alphanumeric technical identifier that may vary with the website configuration.

  • Provider: BeroIT, domain beroit.com.
  • Purpose: maintain the technical session needed for the website and contact form to work.
  • Duration: browser session.
  • Type: essential, technical, first-party.

Cookies strictly necessary to provide a requested function do not require prior consent. No analytics or advertising cookies were identified on the pages reviewed.

Hosting statistics

According to OVHcloud’s terms, this feature is enabled by default, can be disabled and produces aggregated, anonymised reports available for up to 40 months. Its status on this account has not been verified. The owner does not currently consult these reports. This is separate from Google Analytics.

External services

Fonts are downloaded from BeroIT’s own server. Social media icons are links, not embedded tracking widgets. When you follow an external link, the destination website’s policies apply.

Planned features and consent

A community and potentially analytics, videos and other integrations are planned; these are not described as active features. Before enabling technologies that require consent, their names, providers, purposes and durations will be disclosed, with updated options to accept, reject and configure them. Those technologies will not load before the necessary consent is obtained. Your choice will be easy to change or withdraw.

Your choice and the cookie panel

The notice shows the current configuration: necessary technical cookies only, with no active optional services. Accepting all or rejecting optional cookies keeps only the necessary ones; it does not authorise future integrations. You can reopen the panel using “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Your choice and its date are stored locally in your browser for up to 180 days, without sending them to external services. This technical storage remembers your settings. Clearing it, changing browsers or a new preference version may display the notice again. Optional services will be explained and a new choice requested before they are added.

Managing cookies

You can inspect, block or delete cookies in your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent functions such as the form or session from working correctly. Accepting optional cookies is not required to read the content.

Updates

This information will be updated when the website’s functions or providers change. Contact the owner if you have any questions.

Eduard Benito Roig

The person behind BeroIT

I’m Eduard Benito Roig

My background brings together IT, customer service, team coordination and experience in tourism. I enjoy understanding how things work, solving problems and finding ways to make the relationship between people and technology simpler.

BeroIT is my personal space for sharing what I can do, the projects I have contributed to and what I am still learning. It brings together two interests that have shaped my journey: technology and tourism.

Fedefarma: IT support and team coordination

I started as a weekend telephone customer service agent and moved to weekday customer service. My career developed into IT support for pharmacies and internal users, before I became responsible for the Customer Service department and coordinated a team of 30 agents.

I combined the organisation of the team and customer service with cross-functional IT support for pharmacies, warehouses and company users, including Customer Service staff. I also supported the Deister ERP and helped resolve and track incidents.

This experience taught me to prioritise tasks, coordinate work across departments and review processes to organise information better and make the team’s work easier.

Customer service and communication

My experience at Sitel, now Foundever, included customer service, answering enquiries, handling complaints and working towards quality and productivity targets. I learned to listen, understand each need and communicate a clear response, even in difficult situations.

During my placement at C-System JGD Informática, I helped customers in the shop, installed and maintained computers and provided basic technical support. It was an early opportunity to connect IT knowledge with real problems faced by users.

Tourism: a perspective centred on people

My experience as a tour escort has given me knowledge of travel organisation, itineraries and group assistance. Understanding travellers’ questions, preferences and expectations allows me to view tourism through the experience of those taking part in a trip.

This perspective connects with my interest in websites and digital communication for travel agencies and tourism businesses: presenting an itinerary, organising information and helping people find what they need before travelling.

Education and continuous learning

My education includes vocational qualifications in Computer Systems Operations and Web Application Development. I am continuing my Computer Engineering studies online at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).

I am interested in continuing to develop my knowledge of web design, digital tools, content management and automation, combining study with practice and the exploration of new projects.

Knowledge I bring together in my projects

My knowledge includes HTML and CSS, organising pages and content, forms, domains, hosting and email. I am also interested in visual communication, social media, newsletters and advertising through Meta Ads.

My background includes advanced office software, management systems and CRM, ticketing tools, basic data analysis and report preparation. Organisation, the ability to learn and adapting to change are part of how I approach tasks.

Languages

Spanish and Catalan, English with certified B2 proficiency, and Italian. Languages connect my interest in communication with tourism experiences and meeting people from different places.

Why BeroIT

BeroIT grew from the idea of bringing technology and tourism together on one website. It is a personal portfolio and a place to show my background, document projects such as Kpital Legal and share the learning behind each experience.

Projects

Personal portfolio

A selection of projects in which I have applied my knowledge of web development, content and digital communication.

Kpital Legal

Kpital Legal

Web development, content and Meta Ads management for a law firm.

My contribution to Kpital Legal combines building its website, organising content and digital communication. The aim of the project is to present the firm and its practice areas clearly, with navigation that makes it easy to find information and send an enquiry.

Design and web technologies

Page layouts and customisation using HTML and CSS, combined with visual editing and content management tools. Adapting the homepage, team introduction and service pages to the firm’s identity, with attention to structure, styles and presentation across different screen sizes.

Content and visual identity

Organising and adapting copy to explain the firm’s practice areas, selecting and creating images to accompany the content, and applying a navy blue and gold visual identity. Preparing headlines, calls to action and introductory text.

Navigation and forms

Reviewing menus and internal links to connect services, information about the firm and contact details. Configuring forms with different enquiry types so visitors can explain what information they need.

Hosting, data and publication

Configuring and launching the site, transferring files via FTP and adapting the MySQL database connection to the hosting environment. Checking that pages work correctly and preparing their descriptions and content structure.

Digital marketing and Meta Ads

Managing digital advertising through Meta Ads as part of Kpital Legal’s online presence. This aspect of the project connects the firm’s communication with its advertisements and the information available on the website.

What this project brings together

Practical experience connecting web technologies, information organisation, visual design and digital advertising, with particular attention to clarity and the visitor’s experience.
