WTTC presented eight priorities for European tourism in Valletta on 9 October, linking investment, skills and sustainability with better destination management.

Quality beyond visitor numbers

The report also addresses connectivity and AI adoption. These are industry recommendations, not newly adopted EU measures.

For travellers, the useful question is whether digital tools make a journey easier while helping destinations manage local pressure. Better information matters most when it improves the experience on the ground.
